We worked hard on this one, even to the point of researching the name.
Aether is latin for celestial body/being.

We choose the name because of the 3 heavenly body's leaving the dying planet of Aether.

I think its just cool as hell to look at.
Spend some time reviewing the image in detail. ;)

Ahh, thought that terrain looked familiar. I like how the river has that brown effect that turns yello in the shallow parts. I once swam in a lake like that, it wasn't dirty or polluted...It was just the colour of :pepsi: for some reason.

The dark, dull terrain contrasts well against the bright colours of the top half, yet the lighting is accurate and they both fit together.

I must say that the atmosphere is incredible, but there's a bit "sharp" transistion some places.
