I did work on the planets via the layers per each planet.
Did it then too.
I agree with you, those moon like planets are lazy works at best.
Something in those planets that's wrong at the top
One of the planets is mis-shapen
Otherwise, ace render
I will remember that tid bit of wisdom in the future!

Thank you to btw. I found out today one can use the strata bmp's in TG2. Out come was odd, had trouble getting the other shaders to work in concert. Gave up on it for now.
I had some crashes but they are not frequent. But when it happens the images gets saved till the crash point and you can start over with the crop toll to finish it not redoing the ready part.
You can save it, start over the rendering but using the crop toll render just the area with is not rendered in the first image, than merge both with Photoshop or photosomething...
Is boring but can save you some rendering hours.
It get's hard to read that why.
